Chunky Monkey

Kaylen is 4 months old now!! And her cheeks are getting so chubby:)
The doctor gave the OK to start feeding her cereal. Although she really doesn't need the extra food until she's about 6 months, it's good practice to learn how to eat off a spoon.

twinkle toes:)

Here she is smiling at Daddy. She LOVES her daddy!

Hey Mom, I dropped my toy!

Band-aids make 4 month shots hurt a little less.

Kaylen enjoying our brand new dining room floor!

Trying on the hat from Grandma Cheri...kind of looks like clown hair.

Even babies can have bad hair days. At least she makes it look cute!

Such a big girl in her jumperoo!

"So Big!"

We can't believe our little Peanut is 4 months old already! She's growing so fast. She's been rolling over for quite a while now, starting to eat cereal, and talking our ears off! We can't believe how much fun she is now. Can't wait to see what October will bring for us:)

4 Month Doctor Appointment

We had Kaylen's 4 month doctor appointment today! She now weighs 14 pounds 9 ounces and is 24 inches long! She is in the 70th percentile for weight, height, and head size. The doctor was impressed that she's rolling over already and at how coordinated she is. She is getting so good at grabbing things (and putting them in her mouth!). She got another round of immunizations and we're hoping they go as well as they did 2 months ago for her. Last time, she spiked a little fever the next day, but nothing the tylenol couldn't handle. We're going to start trying some cereal with her in the next couple of weeks and see how it goes! She's been very interested in watching us eat so I think she's ready to stat eating herself. We'll post pictures again soon, she's growing and changing so much everyday!

I am home for maternity leave until November 2nd and am LOVING every second of it. I'm starting to miss the kids and school, but it will still be hard to leave her when the time comes.
