Kicks, Kicks, and More Kicks!

We are now 23 weeks pregnant and can't believe the baby will be here in 4 short months. It's hard to wait until May!!! Baby has been kicking and moving like crazy, especially in the morning when I wake up and in the evening when I get home from work. Chad finally gets to feel the kicks too so that makes it even more fun. Our next doctor's appointment is February 4th so we will have more to report after that. We'll be getting another ultrasound the end of February or early in March to double check the placenta attachment location. Apparently, it was a little low on the first ultrasound. We are excited to see the baby again and hopefully get some more pictures! Below is a picture of the crib that my mom and dad bought us while we were in Florida. We'll update nursery pictures as soon as we paint and decorate a little.

Half Way There!

As you can see, I'm starting to really grow a belly!
I am 21 weeks pregnant and I can't believe my pregnancy is half over already.


We had another doctor's appointment yesterday and everything went great again. Our doctor gave us the results from our ultrasound and everything was perfect with the baby. We heard baby's heartbeat beating strong at 146 beats per minute. Baby is now the size of a large banana so that's exciting too!



Chad and I had a great vacation in Florida and are slowly getting back into the swing of real life again. We had a great time relaxing, getting some much needed sleep, and walking the beach. It's always so hard to come back home after those 10 days, but work was calling us. Below is a picture from our last day in Florida. We had beautiful 80 degree sunny weather everyday.
