More Summer Fun

Grandpa and Grandma Majewski have a new campsite and we took some time to go visit them. Megan, Hubble and McKenna were there too so Kaylen got some cousin time! McKenna got to go swimming in the pool there, and next year Kaylen will too!

In the pictures above and below, Kaylen is wearing a #1 shirt that was mine when I was a little girl! There's a picture of me wearing it when I was close to Kaylen's age now. It's fun to be able to dress her up in my old clothes.

Bobbi, Sam and Mallory came to visit for a weekend and we had so much fun! Above is a picture of the girls in the car on the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Here they were seeing who could lift their heads farther off the ground. I think Kaylen was cheating because she's propping herself up with the arms under her body!

Every time they visit our house we have to have a picture of them in the overstuffed chair, just like we did when Kaylen was 4 days old!

I love this picture!!! I love the way Sam is talking to Kaylen and Kaylen is looking at him and listening. Sam is such a sweet cousin and big brother, whenever we lay the girls on the floor he comes over and asks if he can lay between them! He must get enough Mallory time because he usually wants to hold and kiss Kaylen instead of his sister:)

This is my favorite picture of the 3 of them so far!

Above is a picture of Kaylen all bundled up at the Woodchuck's Baseball Game. We love going to games and it's perfect because she can come along. She loves to sit up and look around at the all lights and action. And when she's tired, we can put her in her stroller and let her fall asleep. I have a feeling the games next year will be quite different for us!

Born in the USA!

The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. It has been ever since my days at our Bass Lake cottage when I was a little girl. Of course, Kaylen had to wear a cute outfit for the day!

Kaylen's 3 cousins! Sam, McKenna, and Mallory

Cousin McKenna just LOVES to hold Kaylen...in fact she cries when we take the babies away from her.

Chad's favorite present for Kaylen so far...a pink hockey stick with her name and birth date on it. It was a baptism gift from her Godparents Mike and Bobbi.

Funny story about this picture. This is my favorite Antigo Bakery cake that we got for Kaylen's baptism. We were waiting for her to wake up so we could take a picture of her with it before we cut it. As we all grew impatient of waiting for her to wake up, my sister had the great idea of putting the cake in the crib by her and taking a picture so we could eat it without having to wake her up. Brilliant idea!
Kaylen wore 2 baptism gowns. The one above is the gown that Chad, Megan and McKenna all wore when they were baptized. It was a family gown that Grandma Ann and her brothers and sisters wore too!

Me, Chad, and Kaylen with Pastor John.
Above is the other gown Kaylen wore. This gown was made by Grandma Cheri and both Bobbi and I wore it as did cousin Mallory.

I know, you are NEVER to put the baby in bed with you. However, this is Kaylen's favorite place to sleep. So sometimes in the morning I sneak her in bed with me after Chad gets up for work and we get a little extra cuddle time. Usually she sleeps and I watch her sleep!
Kisses from cousin McKenna!

And hugs from cousin Sam. Kaylen is such a lucky little girl to have so many people who love her!

Kaylen still loves bath time. We tried swimming only once but the water was too cold and she screamed as soon as her toes hit the water. We need to find a nice warm swimming pool for her to try.

Quality "Daddy Time". Here's Kaylen sitting on Chads lap watching sports center.

Tummy Time!!
